What is it:

Revel Nail’s Gel Base can be used with Gel Polish for a long lasting high-shine gel manicure. It is also possible to use Revel Nail’s Gel Base and Tack Free Gel Top Coat in place of our Dip Liquids system to achieve a Revel Nail Dip Powder manicure. This method REQUIRES a UV/LED light. For the best performing dip powder manicure, we do recommend using either our EZ Care or Professional Dip Powder liquids. Please note using gel liquids may also effect the color pay off of your dip powders.

Gel Method Instructions: 

  1. Apply a thin layer of Gel Base Coat
  2. Dip into powder
  3. Cure for 60 seconds
  4. Repeat steps one through three until you achieve desired color or thickness. Note: The gel method does change the color payoff and saturation of colors and more dips may be required to achieve the color you would normally get with the Dip Liquids. 
  5. Buff of file if needed
  6. Apply Gel Base coat again
  7. Cure for 60 seconds
  8. Apply Tack-Free Gel Topcoat and cure for 120 seconds.
